Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) – International Service: Maulana Fazlur Rahman, the leader of Pakistan’s Jamiat Ulema Islam Party, criticized the blaming of Afghanistan for Pakistan’s insecurity and said that if terrorists are entering Pakistan from Afghanistan, why dont they stop them at the border?

He stated in a gathering in Punjab state that terrorism has increased in Pakistan despite the government’s efforts to eradicate it.

Fazlur Rahman added: “Now they are covering up their failure. They say that the Afghan government is to blame for terrorism in Pakistan. Why? Because terrorists come from there. If they come from there, then they must have crossed the border. Where are you on the border to stop them?”

Maulana Fazlur Rahman pointed out that Pervez Musharraf, the former president of Pakistan, had given Pakistan’s air bases to the US for “attacking Afghans”.

He stated: “Sometimes they complained to you that why do planes fly from your airfields and attack us?” They did not complain about your planes and your bombing. You ruined the lives of thousands of people for twenty years. You destroyed the tribes. Do you know that those who live in the border areas are Pakistani and they hate the administrations of their country and want to fight against the administrations of their country? Is someone else to blame for the hatred you have found against yourself?

This is despite the fact that Pakistani officials have always claimed that attacks in this country are planned in Afghanistan and their perpetrators enter Pakistan from Afghanistan.

Recently, the government of Pakistan claimed that the attack on Chinese nationals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was planned in Afghanistan.

However, the Islamic Emirate rejected these claims and said that Afghanistan is not responsible for Pakistan’s “security failure”.
