ADVENTURE seekers wanting to take their vacation to the next level can now stay in a fully renovated helicopter.
The Chinook helicopter Airbnb gives guests a chance to stay in a military helicopter that has been transformed into a comfortable guesthouse.

The Chinook CH-47D was found on Facebook Marketplace before being transformed into an Airbnb.
According to its owners Brent Venderley and Peter Kucinski, before they found the helicopter on social media, it was also used as an office for a local skydiving company.
When it was in use, it is believed to have been flown through Afghanistan before making its way to the Withlacoochee State Forest – about six miles away from Brooksville, Florida.
With two bedrooms and four beds, six guests can stay comfortably in the renovated helicopter.

The main bedroom can be found in the cockpit, with a double bed and a seating area that gives an amazing view of the forest, through the eyes of a pilot.
The second bedroom is located on the opposite end of the plane, where guests have the chance to enjoy a cozy balcony on the loading ramp of the Chinook.
Additional people can sleep on the added pullout sofa located in the living room.
When guests walk into the kitchen, bathroom, and living area they will immediately notice how much thought was put into the design.

Throughout the home, experience epoxy poured countertops, custom tiled bathroom, and a stunning view of the “bones” of the Chinook which are displayed behind the clear sections of the wall.
While the owners wanted guests to feel comfortable, they also looked to maintain the essence of the aircraft.
On the walls, they kept its metal paneling, circular windows, and framework that had been there since the Chinook first took flight.
On the outside, there are a myriad of amenities including an al fresco dining area, games corner, and barbecue.
Anyone into outdoor activities can enjoy mountain biking, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and so much more.
At night, those who are staying in the helicopter can unwind on the Moto Ranch, where they can take in the nature around them with friends and family.
Since opening, people have loved their stay at the Chinook.
